The Jennifer Prete School of Dance ("JPSD") is the first and only dance school in Charlestown, Rhode Island. The founder and director of JPSD is Jennifer Prete Wasfy who is a native of south county. Jennifer has over 30 years of dance experience and has been teaching and producing choreography for over 15 years. JPSD offers classes for children starting at age 3 right up to senior citizen age. JPSD offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, pointe, modern and contemporary. JPSD teaches all levels of ability from beginner to competitive/professional. Private and Semi-Private lessons are also available.
JPSD offers a structured yet friendly and warm atmosphere. Not only do the students learn to dance but also learn to love dance.
